Internal Nesting Workshop for Expectant Parents
Welcome to the "Internal Nesting" workshop! This comprehensive program is designed to guide expectant parents through the exciting, yet challenging and often overwhelming, journey of parenthood. Our interactive sessions will address various aspects of how parenthood impacts us, from emotional regulation and self-care to communication and boundary setting. Join us as we explore the following topics and help you become more confident, resilient, and well-equipped parents.

Identity, Adjustment, and Grief
Workshop Two: Relationships
Communication
Boundaries
Conflict resolution and resentments
Childhood dynamics and reparenting
Workshop Three: Mental and Emotional Well-being
Perinatal Mental Health
Perfectionism and people pleasing
Emotion Regulation and Self-care
Protecting Sleep and physiological needs
Mental Load of childcare and household responsibilities
By participating in this workshop, new parents will gain valuable insights, tools, and support to navigate the challenges parenthood often brings. Through open discussions, engaging activities, and supportive guidance, parents will leave feeling more aware, empowered, and prepared to embrace their new roles.
Structure:
Each workshop will be 3 hours in length with a break
Time at the end for Q&A
Mix of psychoeducation and interactive activities
Binder with materials to be provided at the beginning
Capacity of 8 individuals

Sundays from 1pm - 4pm:

Cost & Registration
Cost per person for the all three workshops is $499(+tax); if you have coverage for a Registered Psychotherapist you may be able to submit for reimbursement.
This group is not just intended for the birthing individual, partners are greatly encouraged to explore these areas as well!
