Jason Dyck is a Registered Social Worker and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. He has always had a desire to see and help people move towards their goals. Prior to becoming a social worker, Jason worked at a local homeless shelter and spent a few years overseas volunteering in developing countries. Through these experiences he developed compassionate awareness of the hardships faced in each individual life, this drove Jason to gain the knowledge and skills to become a social worker. He received his undergraduate degree in social work from York University and achieved his Master in Social Work from McMaster University.  

For the past several years Jason has been working at St Joseph’s Healthcare in the Community Psychiatry Clinic where he has worked with a number of speciality programs including Concurrent Disorders, the Bridge to Recovery and Borderline Personality Disorder Services. Jason’s area of focus is in dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT). 

Jason’s mission for his practice is to reduce suffering in the lives of his clients. He uses open, honest, and light-hearted communication to build authentic therapeutic relationships. He prioritizes individualized care and adapts to meet your needs.
